The Department of Transportation (DOT) has mandated few restrictions for driver and in case if you fall under any of these categories, you will not be allowed to apply for a commercial license. Here are few important things you should consider during your DOT physical exam

STEP 1: Schedule your appointment

It is best to Schedule an appointment , we also accept walk-ins, but to reduce your waiting time we will recommend you to schedule an appointment prior to your visit. Our Physicians are NCRME Certified who are required by Law to perform your DOT Physical (Department of Transportation Medial Examination)

STEP 2: Get your physical

We will perform health examination, including:

  • Health history analysis
  • A thorough physical exam
  • A urine test
  • Additional Tests as needed according to Physician assessment ,certain Medical ailments Risks and Federal Laws outlining certain restrictions and Requirements


We will provide the Medical Examination Report along with Commercial Driver Fitness Determination form and supporting documentation as well as DOT Medical Certificate Card You have to pass all DOT physical requirements so that you can get eligible for your CDL or DOT medical card. You should keep in mind following other important DOT physical regulations during DOT Medical Examination visit- If you want to speed up your visit please fill out the driver's portion of the Medical Examination Report prior to your visit.

Please be aware that Medical Insurance does not cover DOT Medical Certification and Recertification Exams During your DOT physical appointment you should bring a list of items that may be helpful these may include :

  • Glasses if vision requires a prescription
  • Last Medical Certificate Card
  • Medication list
  • Yearly clearance letter from Cardiologist or other Medical Subspecialist.​
